Nano's first car

       Just for fun, we thought we'd post on each of the cars that Nonie and Nano and Grandma and Grandpa Myers have owned over the years.

       Nano's first car was a 1931 Ford Model A coupe.  He bought it when he was teenager (around 1946?) for $200.  It was greenish grey with cream colored spoke wheels.

        Like the Mokolii, Nano knew that car from one end to the other, and could fix any problem it had.  The only time it stranded him, Nano had to call his brother to tow him with a rope.  He found out later that the spare condenser that he had with him was bad.  Also, the car  did not have a rumble seat.

        Nano would stand on the running board while the car was moving along in first gear, and driving along the country roads, he would be looking for game with his rifle at hand.  (as on a safari! ;-)  pretty cool!

         It was very reliable.  1931 was the last year that Model A's were built and they were special even then!
