Jeanne, Bryn and Dylan went to see the ballet Cinderella on Friday, Oct. 12. It was a beautiful drive out to Winchester and the performance was excellent. The only traumatic cause for concern occurred when Prince Charming strode on stage wearing only tights and a short tunic. But after the initial shock and a brief temptation toward hysterical laughter, the sweet story, beautiful tutus, and precise dancing carried the day! Later, one of the girls doubted how the Prince's legs could be real, muscular as they were, and we laughed and wondered if his tights might have been made by the same people that put out the padded Spiderman Halloween costume. After the performance we went to McDonalds for lunch, then stopped in a Christendom for a visit, where the girls posed for the picture.
