We had a most wonderful day yesterday. Teresa had called the night before and asked if we could pick her up at the metro station on the way to see Nonie and Nano. So, we did! Jeanne and I departed from home at 8:40am and we arrived at the Nutley station about 8:15, where Teresa was waiting in all her beauty. It was so much fun to sneak up on Nonie and Nano (as the front door was conveniently left open) and see their surprised faces when they realised that that nurse from GW was there for a visit. We had a lovely time catching up on the news, and then after a quick trip to the store (Jeanne bought clip on hoop earrings), and a quick lunch, we returned to Manassas just in time to meet Peter at the front door. Peter had a half day at school because of school repairs. Teresa and I picked up Seton a couple hours later, and of course, Mimi was overjoyed to see Tee. After a bit of Walmart shopping, it was time to take Teresa to the Manassas Train station where she got on the express train to Alexandria. All in all it was fabulous to spend a day with Teresa. Thanks be to God for the blessing!
