Betty found this amazing costume seven or eight years ago for Pride and Prejudice.
It is been in a box in the basement all this time, until Mimi suggested that it might be good for
Marian and the song, "Til there was You".
Maybe the costume ladies will have a different idea in mind,
but it's not a bad option!
Maybe for the opening scene? The skirt has been adjusted and has a much sleeker look....
What are your thoughts?
Please say a little prayer we can find or make good costumes!
And on a side note....
Jeanne might wear this dress for prom
after shortening it to tea length or a bit longer, and adding trim to cover the shoulders.
It will be $75 on Wednesday,
and we will see if it is still there.
What a silly idea, don't you think?
It still had the original tags on it....it was just under $600 when it was new.

How fun! it would be a hoot if she wore an altered wedding dress to prom! And the bodice/capped sleeves are so pretty on Jeanne . . . I hope she goes for it!
