Camping at Shenandoah River State Park

The fall color is just beginning...hints of the glories to come!

Our campsite was only a few steps down this path to the river.

Veggies on the grill were delish.

After dinner we watched the stars come out and heard an owl calling. Since the moon did not rise until 3AM, the stars were incredible, and we even saw a shooting star.

In the morning we hiked 6.5 miles along the river from one end of the park almost to the other.

The meadows were saturated with dew and in the early morning light each dew drop lit up! It was amazing!

It was a blessed wonderful time! Thanks be to God!
