This past weekend black seeded simpson and bib lettuce were planted in the little kitchen garden along with a row of parsley and spring onions.

also we ordered some freckle lettuce and Portuguese kale seeds.

In addition, the blackberries were pruned.

hope to pick up a floating row cover within a day or two because there will be some frosts this week, and to buy a bale of hay with which to mulch the berries.
