No self respecting sinner can possibly start the day
without being ready to make a good depression impression on everyone around them:
Ok, so first thing in the morning, i am sure to put on the boots of pride:
i can even put them on while singing,
"These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do
one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you."
....i seldom forget the latest Envy sunglasses:
they make the grass on the other side of the fence even greener than it already is!
I never want to be without my very own
Vanity plates, either.
these mirrors keep me focused on me!
they attach very easily to the sunglasses, too!
often, it is the Impatience elbow pads
that really move my day along.
they look uncomfortable,
but once i put them on i don't even notice they are there any more!
i am always ready to resolve the day's confrontations with
a well fitting pair of Anger gloves.....
hopefully,
bigger and badder than everyone else's!
and for proper head gear,
no self respecting sinner can't go wrong with
The dishrag of despondency
Oddly enough, all of these accessories really don't do a good job of covering me up,
so i may just have to follow St. Peter's advice from today's first reading:
Clothe yourself in humility!
